FMC India is not only gaining market leadership; it is also getting the requisite recognition for the innovations it is carrying out to deliver solutions to the farmers in India. In the latest national recognition, FMC India was conferred the Digital and Technology-Enabled Company of the Year Award by The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) on 17th March at the Chemicals and Petrochemicals Awards 2021 ceremony held at the Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi. The annual awards event recognizes individuals and companies for their contribution towards the Indian chemicals industry across 16 categories, including the Digital and Technology-Enabled Company award category which was introduced this year. FMC is recognized for its efforts in promoting end-to-end digitization of the agriculture value chain, from farmer-level interaction to distributor and retailer engagement. Mr. Raju Kapoor, Director of Public & Industry Affairs, received the award on behalf of FMC, from Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Honorable Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways & Minister of State, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, in the presence of Shri Yogendra Tripathi, Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
