FMC India, announced today that it has launched a new research-based insecticide Corprima™. Powered by FMC's world leading Rynaxypyr® insect control technology, Corprima™ will offer superior crop protection against fruit borers, one of the bigger pain points for Indian farmers.
According to the Indian Institute of Vegetable Research, tomato farmers across the country lose up to 65 per cent of their yields to fruit borers every year. The infestation of this pest leads to flower dropping and poor plant health resulting in poor quality fruiting, thus adversely impacting crop yields.
The new offering was unveiled in Raipur in the presence of Ravi Annavarapu, President, FMC India along with retailers and local partners of the company. The product unveiling was followed by cultural performances and knowledge session for attendees.

The unveiling in Chhattisgarh was part of a three-city national launch in vegetable hubs of India including Maharashtra and Karnataka. The launch received a lot of media attention from several leading regional publications.
