Product Overview
Critel® herbicide contains Metamifop formulation as an emulsifiable concentrate. It is a selective, contact Post-emergent herbicide for the control of annual and perennial grass in Direct Seeded Rice (DSR). Critel® herbicide is an AOPP Herbicide - Aryl Oxy Phenoxy Propionic acid group product which shows excellent resistance management. For broad spectrum control, Critel® herbicide requires a tank mix partner for BLW & Sedges. It does not have pre-emergence and soil residual activity. It is rapidly absorbed into the leaves and translocated to the site of active growth (meristem) where it disrupts cell division and inhibits meristematic activity. Critel® herbicide is classified as a lipid synthesis inhibitor (inhibition of acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase). It is highly effective on tough to kill weeds like Echinocloa spp, Dactyloctenium aegyptium, Digiteria spp.
