Product Overview
Centaurus® Fungicide is a unique combination of 2 different chemistry, Pthalimide, and Triazole group which act on different stages of fungus. Pthalimide groups are thiol reactants, blocking the activity of thiol-containing enzymes involved in mitochondrial respiration in fungal spores. Their protective action is mainly due to inhibition of spore germination. Tebuconazole is absorbed into the vegetative parts of the plant and is trans-located acropetally in the xylem. It acts as a demethylation inhibitor (DMI) of fungal sterol biosynthesis. By virtue of its protective and curative action, Tebuconazole provides reliable efficacy before and after the infection by the pathogen.
