- Forget about your offering, focus on relationships. Focus on your relationships with friends, family, teammates, customers and suppliers. Anytime you spend strengthening relationship will support your other goals.
- Forget about the sale, focus on creating value. When times are scary people shut off. What people always want is value creation – solutions that help them navigate dangers, capture opportunities, and reinforce their strengths. Focus on providing these solutions and the sales will follow.
- Forget about the future, focus on today. The future doesn’t exist except as an idea. There are a lot of experts who never saw this coming. Focus on what you can do over the course of the next 24 hours and you’ll be the only expert on the future you’ll ever need.
- Forget about your complaints, focus on your gratitude. You need to make a choice – to complain or be grateful. Complaining attracts negative thoughts and people. Gratitude creates the opportunity for the best thinking, actions and results.
