Product Overview

Now registered for fall application. Authority Strike™ herbicide gives you reliable, one-pass weed control in front of pulse and cereal crops. It delivers a quick, effective burndown up front—and keeps working with extended control to stop weed escapes before they start next spring.

With two Group 14 actives, it takes down some of the toughest resistant weeds out there, including redroot pigweed, lamb’s-quarters, cleavers, kochia, and wild buckwheat. You can also tank-mix it with glyphosate for even broader burndown control.

Authority Strike™ herbicide requires moisture to activate. Spray Authority® brand  herbicides as soil temperatures are cooling to 10° C or less but before soil freeze-up. The soil-applied herbicide removes emerged weeds late in the fall and is the extended residual is activated with snow melt the following spring, creating an active layer that is taken up by the roots and shoots of germinating weeds.

Its unique chemical characteristics mean it does not tie up with crop residue and does not volatilize into the air. Subsequent moisture events are required to maintain the herbicides in solution and remain available for weed uptake.
