PRECISIONPAC® DB-8454 Herbicide / WEST / In-Crop

Weed control for the brown soil zone.  PrecisionPac® DB-8454 herbicide provides control of the toughest weeds in the brown soil zones, especially when it comes to annual weeds like wild buckwheat, stinkweed, volunteer canola and flixweed. It also offers solid control of Group 2-resistant kochia, narrow-leaved hawk’s-beard, dandelion and Russian thistle. It contains both Groups 2 and 4 to help manage weed resistance and can be used in spring wheat, durum and barley.

Timing:  

  • Wheat (spring, durum) and barley: 2-leaf to 5-leaf 

Crop Rotation: 

  • Any crop can be seeded the year following the application of PrecisionPac® DB-8454 herbicide. 

Application Information: 

  • Rates: 52.64 g/ac 

  • Acres per grower bag:  Minimum: 20 acres;  Maximum: 130 acres 

  • Surfactant: Add a registered surfactant such as Agral® 90, Ag-Surf® or Citowett® Plus at a rate of 2 L per 1000 L of spray solution. When tank-mixing with a grass herbicide, use the surfactant provided with the product. 

  • Watervolume: Minimum 5-10 imp gal/ac 

  • Rainfastness: Four (4) hour 

  • Aerial application: PrecisionPac® DB-8454 herbicide is registered for aerial application. See label for further details. 

  • Mixing instructions: For complete mixing instructions, follow WAMLEGS or refer to the label.

Water Volume: 

  • Water volume: Minimum 5-10 imp gal/ac  

Mixing Instructions: 

  • Start with a clean empty sprayer.  Ensure sprayer is equipped with 50 mesh screens or filters when using FMC products. 

  • Fill sprayer tank ½ full with clean water in order to ensure enough water for added product to dilute properly 

  • With agitator running, slowly add the FMC PrecisionPac® products according to their formulation as shown below in the WAMLEGS chart.   

  • Wettable powders, dispersible granules, soluble granules (WG, DF, SG, WP, SP) 

  • Agitate tank mix thoroughly 

  • Micro-encapsulated suspensions (ME) 

  • Liquid flowables and suspensions (SC, SL, SN, Li, SU, SE) 

  • Emulsifiable concentrate formulations (EC) 

  • Fill spray tank nearly full with water 

  • Glyphosate formulations 

  • Surfactants 

  • Complete filling the spray tank to the desired level
