CYGON® 400EC INSECTICIDE / EAST

Cygon® 400EC insecticide delivers control of aphids, spider mites and other insect pests in many vegetable, fruit and field crops. This new formulation offers added ease of use with the same broad spectrum control. Cygon® 400EC insecticide has local systemic activity which penetrates the leaf and protects both sides from insect pests. It also provides a few days of extended control and works well under a wide range of application temperatures, allowing more freedom during spray season.

Application Information: 

Rates:

  • 134 mL/ac – 2400 mL/ac – dependent on pest and crop (please see label for complete crop and pest listing for rates)

Water Volume:  

  • Ground - minimum 10 US gal/ac 

  • Aerial - minimum 5 US gal/ac (crop specific, please see label for details) 

Mixing Instructions:

  • For complete mixing instructions, follow WAMLEGS or refer to the label 

Rainfastness:

  • 6 hours 

Mixing Instructions: 

  • Start with a clean empty sprayer.  Ensure sprayer is equipped with 50 mesh screens or filters when using FMC products. 
  • Fill sprayer tank ½ full with clean water in order to ensure enough water for added product to dilute properly. 

With agitator running, slowly add the FMC products according to their formulation as shown below in the WAMLEGS chart:  

  • Wettable powders, dispersible granules, soluble granules (WG, DF, SG, WP, SP) 

  • Agitate tank mix thoroughly 

  • Micro-encapsulated suspensions (ME) 

  • Liquid flowables and suspensions (SC, SL, SN, Li, SU, SE) 

  • Emulsifiable concentrate formulations (EC) 

  • Fill spray tank nearly full with water 

  • Glyphosate formulations 

  • Surfactants 

  • Complete filling the spray tank to the desired level 

Registered & Supported Tank Mixes: None registered or supported 

Timing: Depends on crop stage and active pest
