Leave ugly behind!

Root-knot nematodes are among the most damaging soil pests in vegetable production. While they represent
only a small proportion of the nematodes present in soil – around 10% - their impact on root development,
crop quality and marketable yield can be significant.

A new biological option, Catulia®, is coming soon from FMC to help growers manage root-knot nematodes
and support healthier root systems and crops.

FMC Quote

Catulia® uses naturally occurring beneficial bacteria to help protect roots from plant-parasitic nematodes.
After application, the bacteria establish around the root system, forming a protective barrier that helps reduce
nematode damage while supporting strong, healthy root growth.

The product has been tested in more than 500 trials worldwide, including over 50 field trials in Australia,
with promising results in crops such as carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and cucurbits.
