Rustler® 500 SC Selective Herbicide

Rustler® Selective Herbicide by FMC provides selective control of annual ryegrass and other grasses and broadleaf weeds in canola and other crops and pastures.

Quick Facts

  • An Australian made 500 g/L formulation manufactured in Wyong, NSW  
  • Provides a high level of pre-emergent control of ARG with good residual activity ensuring competition is removed early and the crop is set up to reach its full yield potential.
  • Provides fair to excellent activity on other annual grass weeds were there are few other effective solutions, especially where wild oat populations have developed resistance to Group 1 herbicides including clethodim.
  • Is also registered in lucerne and legume pastures for either pre-emergent or early post emergent application of certain grasses and broadleaf weeds which is useful for mixed farming enterprises (cropping and livestock).
  • Being an effective Group 3 Herbicide, will strengthen existing integrated weed management (IWM) programs, reducing selection pressure on other key herbicide enabling existing farming system to remain viable.

Product Overview

A 500 g/L SC formulation for the selective pre-emergent control of annual ryegrass and other grasses in including canola and winter pulses as well as the selective control of grasses and certain broadleaf weeds in lucerne, legume seed crops, legume pastures, oilseed poppies and Turf. As a Group 3 mode of action herbicide with no known resistance, Rustler® is an effective tool for integrated weed management to reduce selection pressure on other herbicide modes of action.
