FMC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ed Louw as our new Area Business Manager, effective 1 December 2025. Based in Victoria, Ed will support growers and partners across Southern South Australia and the Western Districts of Victoria.
Ed joins FMC with a wealth of experience in sales, agribusiness and horticultural management across both Australia and South Africa. Most recently, he served as Country Manager and Managing Director for BASF Nunhems Oceania, where he played a key role in driving market growth, strengthening customer and stakeholder relationships and building high-performing teams.
His career also includes several senior commercial and regional leadership roles with BASF Australia and BASF South Africa, where he delivered consistent business results across diverse agricultural portfolios.
Ed holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Stellenbosch and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). He is passionate about developing people, fostering constructive and collaborative team cultures, and supporting growers through innovative and productive crop protection solutions – values that closely align with FMC’s strategy and purpose.
