Fall panicum is a tough-to-control annual grass weed that thrives in wet, compacted soils and has a long emergence window. The key to controlling this grass weed is to apply a preemergence herbicide like Anthem® Flex or Anthem MAXX herbicides in corn and soybeans or Authority® Supreme herbicide in soybeans. Another option for soybeans is Command® 3ME microencapsulated herbicide. A preemergence herbicide program helps keep fall panicum in check all season long.
