EXIREL® INSECT CONTROL

When used early in the growing season, Exirel® insect control powered by Cyazypyr® active protects numerous crops from insect feeding damage and suppresses key insect-vectored diseases, resulting in healthier plants that deliver high-quality, high-yielding crops at harvest.

Labeled on almond, citrus, tree fruit, tobacco and vegetable crops, Exirel insect control protects against key pests including Lepidoptera, Dipteran leafminers, fruit flies, beetles, weevils, whiteflies, thrips, aphids and psyllids with no cross-resistance to existing chemistries. It also offers unique, cross-spectrum activity, helping to conserve key predators and parasitoids without causing secondary pest flares such as mites.

Product Overview

Exirel insect control supports strong, healthy crops for consistently better yields and quality. The cross-spectrum insecticide protects developing foliage and plants from key sucking and chewing pests by impairing insect muscles to deliver rapid feeding cessation and reduce feeding damage and virus transmission.

Exirel insect control impacts multiple pests’ life stages, reducing egg laying that causes fruit damage. The advanced formulation also penetrates the leaf and moves locally within the leaf profile, maximizing translaminar movement, rainfastness and efficacy.

Exirel insect control delivers a novel mode of action from Group 28 against Lepidoptera, Dipteran leafminers, fruitflies, beetles, weevils, whiteflies, thrips, aphids and psyllids with no cross resistance to existing chemistries. Its unique, cross-spectrum activity helps conserve key predators and parasitoids without causing secondary pest flares such as mites.

Promote long-term orchard and grove viability with Exirel insect control from FMC.
