KEENALI™ GR HERBICIDE

Keenali™ GR herbicide powered by Dodhylex™ active contains the only herbicide active in the Herbicide Resistance Action Committee's (HRAC) Group 28. This innovative mode of action will be the first new herbicide mode of action globally in nearly 40 years, and will be an important new rotational tool for growers to manage herbicide resistance. When applied as a preemergence herbicide, Keenali GR herbicide gives California rice growers a strong foundation for season-long control of barnyardgrass, late watergrass and sprangletop, as well as herbicide-resistant biotypes.

Product Overview

Applied as a preemergence, Keenali GR herbicide powered by Dodhylex active will give California rice growers not only a novel mode of action but a new selective grass herbicide in the preemergent space to control barnyardgrass, late watergrass and sprangletop. Growers will benefit from this unique herbicide's ability to deliver long-lasting residual control that will help reduce competition from watergrass and help get the rice crop established.

Pending EPA decision, it’s expected to be commercially available for the 2028 growing season.
