SPARTAN® CHARGE HERBICIDE

Take charge of your fields by applying Spartan® Charge preemergent herbicide to fight troublesome weeds, including ALS- and glyphosate-resistant kochia, plus preplant burndown of broadleaf weeds. Spartan Charge herbicide also offers tank-mix flexibility with preemergent grass herbicides.

  • Preemergent herbicide for soybeans, sunflowers, cabbage, tobacco, peanuts and more.
  • Controls a broad spectrum of broadleaf weeds.
  • Fast-acting burndown of “puffball” kochia and other troublesome weeds.
  • Tank-mix flexibility with preemergent grass herbicides or with glyphosate and other preplant burndown herbicides.
  • Apply as a burndown prior to planting, early preplant or as a preemergent up to three days after planting before or after susceptible broadleaf weed emergence when weeds are less than two inches tall. Ideal for no-till and minimum till practices.
  • Approved tank-mix partner with XtendiMax® herbicide with VaporGrip® technology and Engenia® herbicide for dicamba-tolerant soybeans.
  • Special use notes: In some states, applicators must obtain permits from the state department of agriculture before using Spartan Charge herbicide. Talk to your FMC Star Retailer, consultant or FMC representative for details.

Product Overview

For a cleaner, faster start, Spartan Charge herbicide provides growers excellent residual control of troublesome broadleaf weeds including ALS- and glyphosate-resistant kochia, plus preplant burndown of Russian thistle and many other winter annuals.

Spartan Charge herbicide features two active ingredients for reliable contact and residual weed control. It also offers tank-mix flexibility with glyphosate, paraquat and glufosinate herbicides.
