Zironar® Biofungicide/Bionematicide PLUS Xyway® LFR® Fungicide Provides Protection From Damaging Seedling Diseases, Nematodes and Foliar Diseases
Managing multiple threats to crop health is essential for protecting yields. Fortunately, FMC provides two At-Plant products that, when combined, can achieve early-season protection of seedling diseases and soil nematodes plus provide season-long foliar disease protection of key yield-limiting corn diseases.
Zironar® biofungicide/bionematicide defends seedlings from fungal diseases like Fusarium and Rhizoctonia and important nematodes like root knot and lesion nematodes. Its two novel and proprietary bacterial strains, FMCH001 and FMCH002, also provide beneficial effects that enhance plant stand, vigor and can help improve yield potential. The bacteria colonize roots and form a protective biofilm, protecting seedlings beyond the time typical seed treatments provide.
Xyway® LFR® fungicide utilizes the innovative and unique characteristics of the triazole fungicide, flutriafol. Flutriafol has a high level of systemic mobility and residual performance. This novel technology allows growers to make their fungicide application with the planter pass and help achieve season-long foliar disease protection of key yield-limiting corn diseases.

Zironar Biofungicide/Bionematicide PLUS Xyway LFR Fungicide Trial Results
Two replicated research trials were conducted evaluating Zironar biofungicide/bionematicide at 6 fl. oz./A PLUS Xyway LFR fungicide 15.2 fl. oz./A with an At-Plant 2x2 application in Kansas. Approximately a 15-20 bu/A yield increase response resulted from this application over the untreated check.

Mixing: Make slurry with Zironar biofungicide/bionematicide with water and/or starter fertilizer first. Add to the tank and then add Xyway LFR fungicide. Jar test is recommended for each new crop production mixture.
Application Placement: Apply Zironar biofungicide/bionematicide + Xyway LFR fungicide as a sub-surface application off the row, to the side or below the seed i.e., 2x2 inch, 2x2x2 dual-placement, or various placements within 3-inches of the seed.*
Application Volume: Apply in a minimum of 5 GPA.
Agitation: Provide adequate agitation in the tank to maintain a homogenous solution.
*This Zironar biofungicide/bionematicide recommendation is made as permitted under FIFRA Section 2(ee) for 2x2 inch, 2x2x2 dual-placement, or various placements within 3-inches of the seed placement at-plant in corn (field, corn grown for seed, popcorn and sweet corn) in all registered states excluding New York. This recommendation has not been submitted to or approved by the EPA. The 2(ee) expiration date is 12/31/2027.
