Further Information

Click to open/close

Anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.) is a major fungal disease causing severe yield losses in horticultural and plantation crops such as chili, mango, and cocoa. It is characterized by dark, sunken, circular lesions on fruits, leaves, or stems. Under humid conditions, orange or pinkish spore masses typically form at the center of the lesions, leading to extensive tissue decay and post-harvest fruit rot.
