Further Information

Click to open/close

Sedges are monocotyledonous weeds from the Cyperaceae family that act as major aggressive weeds in both wetland (paddy fields) and dryland agriculture. Characterized by triangular stems, they possess strong survival mechanisms through rapid propagation via underground tubers and rhizomes, aggressively competing with crops for nutrients, water, and sunlight.
