Narrow-leaved weeds (grassy weeds) are invasive plants characterized by long, slender leaf blades with parallel venation. Key species such as Eleusine indica and Leptochloa chinensis act as aggressive competitors in agricultural fields (including paddy rice, plantations, and vegetables), competing heavily for water, nutrients, and sunlight while possessing robust fibrous root systems that make them resilient to control.
