Further Information
Click to open/close
Zinc (Zn) deficiency is a critical micronutrient disorder affecting various crops such as rice, maize, and fruit trees, commonly occurring in high pH or waterlogged soils. Key symptoms include interveinal chlorosis on young leaves, development of brownish or yellowish spots, "little leaf" symptom, and shortened internodes leading to a rosetted appearance. Consequently, plant growth becomes severely stunted, flowering and fruit set are delayed, and overall crop yields are significantly reduced.
