The leaf cutter is a pest consisting of fly larvae that live and feed within the leaf's mesophyll tissue. This activity creates distinctive winding white tracks on the leaf surface, which can inhibit photosynthesis, cause leaves to dry out, and significantly reduce the productivity of horticultural crops.
