Leaf-destroying caterpillars
Further Information
Click to open/close
Leaf-destroying caterpillars (Plutella xylostella) are among the most destructive pests affecting brassica crops such as cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower. These larvae consume foliage from the underside, leaving severe holes and skeletonized leaves that can result in total crop loss. Timely application of targeted insecticides is critical to halt the feeding damage of leaf-destroying caterpillars and manage pest resistance effectively.
