Further Information

Click to open/close

Early blight / Dry leaf spot (Alternaria solani) is a destructive fungal disease primarily affecting Solanaceous crops such as potatoes and tomatoes. Symptoms are characterized by dark brown to black leaf spots exhibiting distinct concentric rings in a target-board pattern. Severe infections cause surrounding leaf tissue to yellow, dry out, and defoliate prematurely, while dark, sunken lesions may also form on stems and fruits.
