For our new Technology Center in Schaffhausen (Switzerland) we are looking for a
Active Ingredient (AI) Supply Chain Planning Manager (m/f/d)
Your primary role is to lead a team of Active Ingredient (AI) Master Planners to review and update the global API balanced demand, supply, and inventory plan. You are the first point of escalation for monitoring and resolving supply chain planning issues to achieve the company's business objectives.
What you do with us
- You will work closely with Supply Chain teams, Global Procurement, Operations, Technical Centre, Global Marketing, Tollers, Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers to identify and resolve demand and supply imbalances and find optimal solutions to unplanned opportunities and issues
- You manage SAP system and IBP Solver on demand forecasting to cover AI production, intermediates, and RM requisitions
- You manage and optimize global inventory levels in line with the company goals
- You participate in supply chain projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of GSC planning activities
- You review, implement and execute any new tollers/contract manufacturers’ contracts agreements and design supply chain processes for the new source
Your qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or Business Management. Advanced Supply Chain or Project Management Certification preferred (CSCP, CPIM, CPM)
- 10+ year experience in the chemical manufacturing industries with multi-national companies; focusing on supply chain, engineering, or other technical background preferred
- Experience in supply chain management, knowledge of sales and operations planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics and procurement
- Exhibit strong SAP user experience/knowledge with on PP/PE module. Advanced Planning software knowledge a plus
- Deep financial understanding and ability to complete routine cost / benefit scenario analysis
